Job summary

Evans, Inc. is hiring a Network Engineer to support FAA deployments and mission-critical air traffic systems. You will help with installation, testing, and commissioning, coordinating with field teams remotely and on-site while ensuring compliance with change-control procedures.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, CCNA certification, and experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE environments. Domestic travel and on-site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in networking/IT infrastructure or related fields.
• CCNA certification.
• Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and Windows/Linux diagnostics.
• Experience with federal government or mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with NIST/FISMA/FedRAMP.
• Experience with IPv4 addressing, VLANs, ACLs.

Responsibilities

• Provide network deployment, integration, and commissioning support.
• Troubleshoot network issues using structured diagnostic methodologies.
• Coordinate site readiness and deployment trackers.
• Support field deployment teams remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate with providers and stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation.
