Evans, Inc. is hiring a Network Engineer to support a contract with the FAA.

The role focuses on deploying an air traffic support system in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment, serving as a key technical resource during installation, integration, testing, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will diagnose networks, coordinate site readiness, and work with field teams both remotely and on-site, collaborating with providers and engineering stakeholders to ensure successful system

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline as required.
• 5+ years in networking, IT infrastructure, or field deployments; master/PhD can substitute per policy.
• Fundamental enterprise networking knowledge: IPv4, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/UDP, ACLs.
• Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE environments and Windows/Linux diagnostics.
• Ability to support hardware staging, installation, and commissioning activities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for network deployment, integration, and commissioning of mission-critical air traffic systems.
• Serve as primary technical resource during live deployments, guiding field personnel remotely and on-site.
• Coordinate site readiness and deployment requirements, track prerequisites, and escalate blockers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and providers to resolve network/infrastructure issues and maintain continuity.
• Document test results and status updates to leadership during deployment lifecycle.
