Job summary

Enterprise Engineering Services provides mission-critical engineering support for FAA projects, leading the deployment refresh of real-time air traffic management systems. The role involves creating deployment docs, configuring specs, and serving as the customer contact while installing hardware at FAA sites.

Travel will be frequent; the 18‑month assignment may extend, with duties focused on timely troubleshooting and collaboration with FAA teams at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and permanent residency.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics plus 2–10 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Experience using power tools.
• Experience troubleshooting installation/boot-up issues.
• Experience with mid- to large-scale hardware refreshes/deployments in a government environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and task management skills.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop deployment support documentation for customers.
• Work with management to develop deployment specifications and configurations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner.
• Act as customer contact for deployment related inquiries and issues.
• Install and test hardware at FAA customer sites.
• Create technical artifacts needed for deployments at FAA customer sites.
• Troubleshoot malfunction occurrences during hardware installations.
