Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician to support FAA contracts in the Kansas City metro area. The role involves field support, remote sites, and occasional travel to customer locations to meet FAA needs.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing, configuring, testing and preventive maintenance on various equipment, reading drawings and coordinating with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk. On-call hours and lifting up to 32 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others) that L3Harris supports.
• Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventive maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Read/understand follow equipment drawings and task orders; communicate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
