Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for field services supporting FAA programs in the Kansas City area. You will provide technical field support, install and repair equipment, and perform preventive maintenance at customer sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with several years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with related experience. On-call work and travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong technical aptitude.
• 2 years post-secondary/Associates with related experience or 6 years on-the-job experience.
• Preferred networking certifications and hands-on field experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for FAA programs in the Kansas City area.
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Read and follow equipment drawings, task orders, and maintain field documentation.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, inventory and vehicle; on-call hours may be required.
