Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician to support FAA programs from the Chicago airspaces. This role requires field support at customer sites, remote work as scheduled, and occasional travel to remote locations to assist with FAA needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• 2+ years of related field experience or 0-2 years with an Associates degree.
• Reading and following equipment drawings and task orders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain FAA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS).
• Install, repair, configure, test, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites.
• Work remotely/in the field, sometimes travel to remote locations as needed.
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
