Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Boston Metro area. This remote role focuses on defending existing business and expanding premium product adoption across dealers, distributors, and market stakeholders.

You will drive district plans, manage accounts, and convert demand into sustained territory growth. The RAM works with Channel Managers and field teams to achieve regional growth, using CRM data to forecast performance and prioritize actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
3+ years of progressive sales experience with a high level of organization, discipline, and self-structure, preferably within the building products industry.
1+ years of experience with a CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
Ability to travel outside of local market up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to expand product adoption, increase share of wallet, and introduce new solutions that align with customer needs.
Defend business by maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customer accounts through engagement and value-added support.
Serve as the key partner for assigned customers and market stakeholders to ensure partnership, satisfaction and loyalty.
Develop account plans and execute growth targets for each key account; conduct regular business reviews.
Translate customer feedback into internal recommendations for product, pricing, service, or process improvements.
Maintain account profiles, activity logs, and pipeline opportunities in CRM; forecast performance.
