Job summary

Agile Space Industries seeks an Export Compliance Specialist – Regulatory & Contracts to manage ITAR, EAR, and related trade controls. The role partners with Program, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Legal to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes.

The ideal candidate will be located in a state where Agile operates or remote; strong risk assessment and documentation skills are essential, with exposure to licenses and compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five+ years of export controls or compliance experience.
• Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts with export-control terms.
• Experience conducting restricted-party screening and export documentation.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support ITAR, EAR and other US trade requirements.
• Lead export jurisdiction classifications (USML, ECCN).
• Assist in licensing and authorization processes.
• Review contracts for export-control obligations and risks.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance records and tracking tools.
• Coordinate with Legal, Security and cross-functional teams.
