Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Export Licensing Specialist to support EAR and ITAR export licensing within a regulated technology environment. You will prepare license applications, evaluate license exceptions, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant international activity.

The ideal candidate has hands-on EAR licensing experience, familiarity with ITAR, and knowledge of systems like SNAP-R, DECCS, OCR EASE, or SAP GTS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Engineering, Legal Studies or related.
2-4 years hands-on export licensing or export control experience under EAR.
Working knowledge of EAR licensing requirements and license exceptions.
Familiarity with ITAR.
Experience with SNAP-R, DECCS, OCR EASE, SAP GTS or similar systems.
Experience in defense/aerospace or regulated technology environments.

Responsibilities

Review activities to determine EAR/ITAR export authorization requirements.
Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications and documentation.
Evaluate and advise on EAR license exceptions.
Review classifications, authorizations, and licensing requirements for compliant activity.
Ensure license conditions and reporting requirements are met.
Maintain export licensing records and supporting documentation.
Conduct peer reviews of license applications and determinations.
Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal and others.
Develop and maintain trade compliance procedures and training materials.
Deliver training on export licenses and license exceptions.
