Job summary

Agile Space Industries is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist – Regulatory & Contracts to manage ITAR/EAR compliance, licensing, and contractual flow‑downs. You will partner with Legal, Engineering, and Program teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes.

Based in the United States with remote options, you will help build audit‑ready records, perform screenings, and support regulatory inquiries while contributing to Agile’s growth in aerospace compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, supply chain, engineering, legal studies, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in export controls, trade compliance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR and their application to contracts, data, products, or services.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts including export-control terms.
• Experience with restricted-party screening, export classification, and export documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support export‑control activities including ITAR, EAR, and other U.S. trade requirements.
• Lead export jurisdiction and classification assessments (USML, ECCN).
• Assist in licensing, authorizations, and regulatory approvals.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance records and tracking tools.
• Embed compliance requirements into day‑to‑day business activities and contracts.
