Confidential is seeking an Executive Underwriting Director, Brokerage Excess, to lead underwriting strategy for a brokerage excess portfolio in a remote, US-based role. You will guide pricing, growth, and risk selection while partnering with brokers and internal stakeholders to preserve portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of underwriting experience, including large or complex programs.
• CPCU designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Excess & Surplus lines underwriting policies and practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify new market opportunities and support product development.
• Analyze loss exposure and set premiums and endorsements accordingly.
• Build broker relationships and resolve conflicts independently.
• Conduct marketing visits and report outcomes to the team.
