Qualifications

• Eight years underwriting experience handling large or complex programs and accounts.
• Excess & Surplus lines experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPCU designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Risk Selection: identify market opportunities and develop appetite guidelines.
• Technical Underwriting: analyze exposure, premiums and endorsements; evaluate forms.
• Broker Relations: maintain broker relationships and resolve conflicts.
• Marketing: conduct marketing visits and relay outcomes to the team.
• Territory Management: analyze premiums and losses; manage broker submissions.
• Team Development: lead and develop division members and mentor others.
• Production: manage submissions to meet premium and loss ratio goals.
