This role drives territory strategy, monitors results, mentors underwriters, and shapes plans to achieve ambitious metrics while operating in a fast-paced E&S/S environment across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Eight years of underwriting experience preferred, handling large or complex programs and accounts.
• Excess & Surplus lines experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Excess & Surplus underwriting policies, plans and reinsurance.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Risk selection and appetite guidance for assigned territory.
• Technical underwriting with premium development and endorsements.
• Broker relations and management across producer channels.
• Marketing visits and broker performance reviews.
• Territory management and broker submissions analysis.
• Team development and cross-functional project participation.
