Job summary

ProAg, a Tokio Marine HCC company, seeks an Executive Underwriter - Specialty to drive growth by building strong agent relationships and supporting underwriting teams.

You will lead risk evaluation, pricing decisions, and profitability initiatives, while mentoring staff and promoting collaboration with sales and operations across the US. Remote work option available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration/Accounting/Business Administration or related field.
• Approximately six years of relevant and progressive professional experience.
• At least two years of leadership experience.
• Experience in agriculture insurance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans with agencies to improve profitability and growth.
• Evaluate new/renewal policy applications, classify risks and set pricing.
• Cultivate relationships to facilitate underwriting and promote business development.
• Serve as a resource on underwriting procedures and guidelines.
• Use automated underwriting tools to prepare information for policies.
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and company policies.
