Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Executive & Strategic Recruiter to lead high-impact executive searches in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role emphasizes passive talent engagement and strategic hiring across AI and data science, partnering with senior leaders to shape role profiles and sourcing approaches.

You will own end-to-end recruitment, build discreet pipelines, and provide market insights while maintaining strong relationships with passive candidates in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of executive recruiting experience focused on passive candidates.
• Proven ability to source and close 10–15 senior-level searches in the last year.
• Autonomous operator able to manage ambiguity and complex searches.
• Strong network to support outreach and sourcing for leadership roles.
• Experience with AI and automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruiting process for challenging executive-level roles.
• Proactively source high-quality passive candidates through multiple channels.
• Collaborate with hiring executives to refine role profiles and sourcing strategies.
• Drive the close of specialized hires, especially in AI and data science.
• Maintain relationships with passive candidates even when no active openings exist.
• Handle confidential searches with discretion and care.
• Provide insights on talent trends and competitive hiring landscapes.
