Jobgether is seeking an Operations Manager, Event Management (SMM) based in the United States. You will lead and develop a team delivering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, coordinating with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality experiences.

The role focuses on operational excellence, financial performance, and continuous improvement while offering a fully remote work environment and opportunities to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years in meeting planning or event management.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating multiple teams.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing events in a healthcare professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach event management teams across markets and formats.
• Organize regular team meetings and training opportunities.
• Monitor performance and improve ROI and efficiency.
• Oversee labor allocation, T&E, and expense reporting for compliance.
• Develop and implement operational initiatives and processes.
• Guide destination management, hotel services, and internal operations.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve operational issues.
• Oversee invoicing approvals and account management.
• Ensure SOPs and workflows are followed across accounts.
• Balance account leadership with team management and client delivery.
