Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response team. The role involves assessing patients in the emergency department who present with behavioral/mental health concerns and providing recommendations for treatment.

This is a fully remote position with evening shifts (3pm–11pm). Applicants should hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and be licensed as LPC or LCSW.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPC or LCSW required.

Responsibilities

• Assess social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situations for each patient.
• Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare team members and community agencies to develop and implement treatment plans.
