Sentara Health is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response team. The therapist will assess patients in Sentara Emergency Departments with behavioral/mental health concerns and provide treatment recommendations.

This is a fully remote position with evening shifts (3pm-11pm). Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and licensure as LPC or LCSW.

Formación

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• At least 1 year outpatient or inpatient experience preferred.
• Crisis experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare team, and community agencies to develop and implement plans.
• Evaluate effectiveness of plans and initiate changes as needed.
