Sentara Health is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist for the Psychiatric Emergency Response team. You will assess patients in the ED with behavioral/mental health concerns and provide treatment recommendations.

This is a fully remote role with evening shifts (3pm-11pm) and a strong emphasis on collaboration with families and healthcare teams. Typical qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and LPC or LCSW licensure, with at least one year of

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
• LPC or LCSW license required.
• 1+ year outpatient or inpatient experience; crisis experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare team and community agencies to plan care.
• Evaluate effectiveness of plans and adjust as needed.
