Job summary

ABB E-Mobility seeks a field service/maintenance technician to perform remote diagnostics and support for EV chargers across Europe. You will diagnose faults from alarms and logs, guide field technicians during installations, and manage escalations within SLAs while keeping documentation up to date.

The role requires 2–3 years in electrical maintenance, solid electrical fundamentals, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in field service or technical support on electrical equipment.
• Solid electrical fundamentals (low voltage, DC, power systems).
• Electrical safety certification (habilitation électrique) a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Remote diagnostics & troubleshooting of DC chargers (~70%).
• Guide field technicians during installation, commissioning and repairs.
• Handle escalations from field teams within SLAs.
• Documentation of troubleshooting procedures and diagnostics in case management tools.
