Job summary

EV.Careers is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to service and commission EV charging and battery energy-storage systems in field environments. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize performance at customer sites, qualifying as a hands-on technical expert in the company’s technology.

Qualifications

Hands-on field service experience with diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, or energy systems.
Ability to troubleshoot autonomously by reading schematics, researching components, and resolving issues independently.
Comfort working with high-voltage systems and power electronics.
Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer service and commissioning activities.
Self-starter who is motivated to continuously learn new product technologies.

Responsibilities

Commission, service, troubleshoot, and repair EV charging and battery energy-storage systems at customer sites.
Diagnose complex electrical and power-electronics issues in the field, often independently, and drive them to resolution.
Become a subject-matter expert on the company's technology.
Support installations and site commissioning activities, and document service cases and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Travel to customer sites as needed, primarily on planned and consolidated trips.
