Job summary

We are currently seeking a full-time, direct-hire Field Service Engineer for a leading manufacturer of EV charging and battery systems. In this position, you will be the hands-on expert who commissions, troubleshoots, and repairs EV charging and battery systems in the field, while developing into a subject-matter expert on the company's technology.

Responsibilities

• Commission, service, troubleshoot, and repair EV charging and battery energy-storage systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose complex electrical and power-electronics issues in the field, often independently, and drive them to resolution.
• Become a subject-matter expert on the company's technology.
• Support installations and site commissioning activities, and document service cases and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Travel to customer sites as needed, primarily on planned and consolidated trips.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or formal electrical/electronics training.
