Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s UnitedHealthcare division is hiring a Sales Account Manager for the NY Essential Plan. The role focuses on enrolling eligible members, building relationships with provider offices and community organizations, and presenting plan information to drive enrollment and growth.

The position requires CAC certification, 2+ years in B2B/B2C sales or outreach, and willingness to travel locally within NY. Telecommuting is possible in Erie County and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B, B2C direct marketing, outside sales or community outreach experience
• Marketplace Certified NYSOH CAC ID required or willing to obtain within 30 days
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems (Salesforce)

Responsibilities

• Enroll eligible members in the Essential Plan
• Build and foster relationships with key accounts (providers, CBOs, housing, etc.)
• Present health plan information to providers and potential customers
• Serve as point of contact for members and ensure enrollment experience
• Meet or exceed sales and enrollment targets in the assigned territory
• Conduct product information presentations in multiple settings including in-home consultations
• Manage multiple priorities and track activities using internal systems
• Stay informed on operations, network, premiums, and member services
