Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors for 1:1 ESL lessons with students in the United States, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong. You set your own schedule, teach 50‑minute sessions, and create a welcoming learning environment that supports student growth.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of K‑12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience; TEFL is a plus but not required. This is an independent contractor role with a $20 USD per class pay rate plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of teaching experience with K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
