Johnson Controls is seeking an Equipment Partnership Manager to oversee the strategic management and expansion of our third-party equipment portfolio. You will establish representation agreements, develop licensing programs, and serve as a technical SME across local to national levels.

The role is remote and requires 5+ years in product or program management, with knowledge of HVAC equipment and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or business preferred.
• 5+ years in product or program management.
• Experience with third-party equipment manufacturers or sales reps.
• Technical understanding of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Experience in training and educating field sales/operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to expand the third-party equipment portfolio and offer comprehensive systems solutions.
• Establish representation agreements and licensing programs with providers.
• Manage relationships with third-party integrators for seamless integration of offerings.
• Serve as technical SME for third-party equipment with field teams.
• Conduct market research to identify expansion opportunities and portfolio improvements.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering to promote third-party equipment.
• Develop new product offerings with third-party integrators to meet market needs.
• Monitor product performance and use data to optimize the portfolio.
• Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders and leadership.
• Stay updated on industry trends to guide portfolio development.
