Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Principal Trainer to lead and evolve Epic training programs across the organization. You will develop curricula, maintain the training environment, and mentor credentialed trainers to ensure workforce readiness for Epic and related software deployments.

The role requires collaboration with application build teams and education leadership to assess needs and implement effective training strategies across clinical and non-clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed in at least two major Epic applications.
• Must have worked on at least one Epic project resulting in a go-live event.
• Two years of experience in developing and editing curriculum.
• Must have provided floor support coverage for an Epic application, and demonstrated knowledge of workflows in additional applications during a go-live.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training curricula to assure user understanding of software, support policies, and workflows.
• Build, test, and maintain the Epic training environment; ensure readiness for go-lives.
• Provide guidance and mentoring for credentialed trainers and collaborate with the build team leadership and training manager.
• Assess workforce education/training needs and develop effective strategies to meet them.
