Job summary

Highmark Health seeks an Epic Beaker Specialist to configure, roll out, and support Epic Beaker applications across environments. The role involves business analysis, requirements documentation, design, testing, and implementation of Epic solutions, with end-user training and ongoing support.

The candidate will perform workflow analysis, maintain documentation, and guide users to maximize Epic effectiveness, while managing small-to-medium projects and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience.
Epic Application Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Configure, roll out, and support Epic Beaker applications.
Perform business/system analysis, requirements definition and documentation.
Design, test, implement, and support Epic software needs.
Provide end-user support and guidance to optimize Epic use.
Lead small-to-medium projects and update stakeholders regularly.
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems.
