Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks a Project Controls Scheduler for nationwide PV solar, battery storage and HV substation projects. The role is fully remote with travel to jobsites in the region to lead scheduling efforts and coordinate with multiple business units.

You will develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, analyze documents, perform take-offs, and update schedules twice monthly while communicating progress to the team.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Must have scheduling experience for construction projects in HV/substations or electrical features.
• Prior EPC scheduling experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 Software required.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Analyze project documents to form basis of EPC schedule.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish activity durations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM and field management teams.
• Obtain feedback from owners and consultants to improve schedule buy-in.
• Attend project meetings to understand issues and provide updates.
• Update schedule at least twice a month with actuals and deviations.
• Communicate schedule updates and maintain reports in Teams/SharePoint.
• Maintain delay logs and document weather-related delays monthly.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures and support PEs and APMs.
