Job summary

The Project Controls Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV solar projects and may travel to sites within the region.

The role is fully remote with interview‑stage location details.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling for HV/substations or electrical projects.
• EPC scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Experience with P6 software required.
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Analyze project documents to form the basis of the EPC schedule.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs and maintain related data files.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM and field teams.
• Seek feedback from owners and consultants to improve schedule buy-in and accuracy.
• Ensure realistic durations with CPM best practices.
• Attend project meetings to understand issues and updates.
• Update schedules at least twice monthly and track deviations.
• Communicate schedule updates to the team via Teams/SharePoint.
• Maintain delay logs from BD to project completion.
• Record weather delays against NOAA data monthly.
• Perform what-if analyses, change orders and claims.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures.
• Visit jobsites regularly.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
• Maintain SOLV P6 database with codes and files.
• Support reporting while preserving core schedule structure.
• Handle other tasks assigned by senior scheduler.
