Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects. The Project Controls Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for a portfolio of PV solar projects and may travel to jobsites in the region.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling HV/substations or electrical projects.
• Scheduling in EPC environment is highly desired.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Proficient with P6 scheduling software.
• MS Office proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EPC schedules using P6.
• Plan projects by analyzing drawings, contracts, and exhibits.
• Perform quantity take-offs to estimate durations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM, and field management.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve schedules.
• Ensure CPM logic and realistic durations.
• Attend project meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Update schedules at least twice monthly with actuals.
• Maintain delay logs and NOAA weather comparisons.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
• Maintain SOLV P6 database with codes.
• Support reporting while preserving structure.
• Visit jobsites regularly.
