Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar projects. Travel to jobsites in the region is required, with potential support for other regions.

The role is fully remote and will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field management to ensure timely project completion. Responsibilities include creating schedules in Primavera P6, analyzing project documents, and maintaining baseline data and weather-related delays.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience in scheduling for construction projects specific to HV, Substations, or other electrical features.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 Software required.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 software to develop and maintain EPC project schedules based on realistic execution plans.
• Assist in planning the project by analyzing project documents, drawings, contracts to form the EPC schedule.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish durations and maintain all working files (excel trackers, weather data, etc).
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management and field teams for feedback.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve schedule accuracy.
• Ensure sound CPM logic and realistic durations in the schedule.
• Attend project meetings to understand issues and address schedule questions.
• Update schedule at least twice a month and report deviations from the critical path.
• Communicate updates to project team and store in SharePoint.
• Maintain delay logs documenting delays from development to completion.
• Record weather delays in P6 and compare to NOAA data monthly.
• Perform what-if analyses, change orders and claims on schedules.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures and tool usage.
• Visit jobsites as needed to support scheduling.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions and dates.
• Maintain SOLV P6 database with accurate activity codes and status comments.
• Support reporting efforts while maintaining core schedule structure.
