Job summary

Leidos’ NISC IV Program seeks an Environmental & Safety Professional to support the FAA’s EOSH programs, including IAQ, asbestos, lead, and chemical/hazardous waste management. The role demands extensive reporting, sampling, and training delivery.

The position involves up to 50% travel, with overnight travel often, and work at customer sites as needed, primarily in the Atlanta area. Strong MS Office skills and effective interaction with senior management are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree and relevant experience.
• Environmental, health and safety experience.
• Proven experience with EOSH field equipment (e.g., PID, XRF, Dosimeter).
• Proficient in obtaining and developing Asbestos samples & reports.
• Experience in IAQ sampling & reporting.
• MS Office Suite proficiency and ability to use SharePoint/KSN.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental and safety support to FAA EOSH programs (IAQ, Asbestos, Lead, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports with guidance.
• Manage inspections using electronic data and online storage; use MS Office.
• Research and interpret Federal, State, Local, and FAA EOSH regulations.
• Provide problem solving and customer service to internal/external customers.
