Job summary

Leidos' NISC IV Program seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Professional to support the FAA's EOSH activities across the Eastern Service Area. The role involves field sampling, report interpretation, and providing comprehensive EOSH training.

This position requires independent work, strong customer service, and the ability to deliver technical guidance to senior management and clients. Travel and remote work are possible.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in environmental, health and safety fields.
• Proficient with EOSH equipment (PID, XRF, Dosimeter).
• Experience in obtaining Asbestos samples and reports.
• Experience in IAQ sampling and reporting.
• Knowledge of Fall Protection and Electrical Safety reporting.
• Proficient with drinking water sampling and reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental and safety support to FAA EOSH programs.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys and submit technical reports.
• Manage inspections using electronic data and SharePoint.
• Research and interpret applicable EOSH rules and regulations.
• Provide problem-solving and customer service.
• Fully remote/travel and at client sites as needed.
