Job summary

Leidos’s NISC IV Program seeks an Environmental & Safety Professional to support FAA EOSH programs in the Eastern Service Area. You will join a multi-disciplinary team handling Asbestos, Lead, IAQ, and more, delivering training and technical reports as required.

The role is remote with up to 50% travel; NC-based candidates will report to customer sites as needed and coordinate with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree.
• Environmental, health and safety experience.
• Experience with EOSH field equipment (PID, XRF, Dosimeter).
• Proficient in obtaining and developing asbestos samples & reports.
• Experience in IAQ sampling and reports.
• Competence in Fall Protection and Electrical Safety issues and reports.
• Proficient in drinking water sampling and reports.
• Strong MS Office and MS Project skills; experience with SharePoint/KSN.
• Reliable vehicle; ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide EOSH support to FAA EOSH programs (IAQ, Asbestos, Lead, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports with actionable guidance.
• Manage inspections using electronic data and online storage (MS Office/SharePoint).
• Research and interpret applicable federal/state/local/FAA EOSH rules.
• Deliver effective problem-solving and customer service.
