Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Environmental & Safety Professional to support the FAA EOSH programs, including IAQ, Asbestos, Lead and Chemical/Hazardous Waste Management. This remote role requires up to 50% travel with reporting to customer sites as needed, including Memphis as requested.

The candidate will inspect, sample, and prepare technical reports, provide EOSH training, and coordinate with senior management and customers.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or a Masters degree and related experience.
• Environmental, health and safety experience.
• Experience with EOSH field equipment (PID, XRF, Dosimeter).
• Experience in obtaining and developing Asbestos, IAQ, and drinking water samples and reports.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental and safety support to EOSH programs for FAA.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
• Manage inspections using electronic data and SharePoint.
• Research and interpret applicable EOSH regulations.
• Provide EOSH training to employees and support customer service.
