Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative. This developmental role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting and broker relationships as you build a long-term career in insurance sales.

You will support the sales team with outreach, meetings, and account management while progressing through a structured training program designed to prepare you for a full Sales Representative role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.
• Internship, part-time work, customer-facing experience, sales experience, athletics, leadership involvement, or other experiences demonstrating drive and competitiveness.
• Interest in sales, insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, or business development.
• Exposure to insurance, healthcare benefits, underwriting, or financial services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales representatives to learn the Employer Health Solutions business and develop consultative sales skills.
• Support the sales team with prospect and broker outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up activities, and account management tasks.
• Participate in meetings with insurance brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to gain exposure to the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through structured training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop an understanding of underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and training programs to expand industry knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with sales reporting, CRM updates, and pipeline management.
• Progress through a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
