Job summary

Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our growing team. This developmental role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting, broker relationships, and the insurance sales process.

You will partner with experienced sales professionals, support prospecting and outreach, participate in broker meetings, and build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Comfortable building professional relationships and interacting with business leaders and insurance professionals.
• Internship, part-time work, customer-facing experience, sales experience, athletics, leadership involvement, or other experiences demonstrating drive and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales representatives to learn the Employer Health Solutions business and develop consultative sales skills.
• Support the sales team with prospect and broker outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up activities, and account management tasks.
• Participate in meetings with insurance brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to gain exposure to the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through structured training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop an understanding of underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and training programs to expand industry knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with sales reporting, CRM updates, and pipeline management.
• Progress through a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
