Job summary

Ballard House is a founder-led ecommerce company partnering with established brands to scale Amazon operations using in-house logistics, content creation and advertising infrastructure.

We are hiring a Catalog Specialist to support catalog and brand management, performing routine backend tasks, variation setups, flat-file uploads, and listing copy drafting under the Catalog Lead. This is an entry-level role with high growth potential for quick learners.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; no prior e-commerce or Amazon experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication required.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational instincts.
• Comfortable with basic spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel).
• Able to follow written instructions and SOPs consistently.
• Fast learner who takes feedback well.
• Reliable and organized with ability to manage multiple simple tasks.
• Willingness to ask questions when something is unclear.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Pull routine catalog, inventory, and performance reports to maintain accurate central database records.
• Perform routine updates in Amazon Seller Central, including titles, bullet points, backend search terms, and product descriptions.
• Assist with creating and troubleshooting basic product variation structures and flat-file uploads.
• Write and edit clear, compliant product listing copy according to brand guidelines and keyword targets.
• Identify and document catalog errors, listing suppressions, stranded inventory, and other issues for review or escalation.
• Maintain clean and accurate spreadsheets, databases, and catalog documentation.
• Follow established SOPs and processes for routine catalog operations.
• Assist with basic catalog audits and quality checks to ensure listings and data remain accurate.
• Monitor and appropriately respond to Account Health notifications and Customer Messages.
• Communicate questions, issues, and completed work clearly with the Catalog Lead and broader team.
• Learn and gradually take on more advanced Amazon catalog tasks as your skills develop.
