Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Enterprise Storage Sales Specialist to support the greater New Jersey, New York, and Maryland territory. This remote/teleworker role focuses on storage products and solutions, building a strong sales pipeline and collaborating with account teams to drive deals at mid-to-large accounts.

The position requires 4+ years of storage-related sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or higher), and the ability to travel ~50% across the region.

Qualifications

• University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Storage related sales experience strongly desired.
• Extensive vertical industry knowledge required.
• Based in Maryland, New Jersey, or State of New York and able to travel approximately 50% for local, customer-facing engagements across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry or accounts.
• Uses advanced storage expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities.
• Creates and drives the storage sales pipeline and ensures proper lead management and follow-up.
• Collaborates with account pursuit teams to leverage solutions expertise for business development.
• Builds sales readiness and reduces client learning curve through effective knowledge transfer in storage.
• Directs and coordinates supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through account managers, Presales, channel partners and other stakeholders.
