Job summary
Censys in Chicago seeks an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to be the primary technical resource for enterprise prospects and customers, bridging cybersecurity challenges with measurable business outcomes. You will design and deliver product demonstrations, architect solutions for complex environments, and run technical evaluations to build confidence for large-scale adoption.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll own technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, guide discovery, and collaborate with the Enterprise
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Sales Engineering or pre-sales for enterprise tech
- Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to influence senior technical and business leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences
- Based in or near Chicago with willingness to travel in-territory
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and tailor solution architectures for enterprise environments
- Deliver product demonstrations and PoCs/technical evaluations for enterprise buying committees
- Own responses to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify strategic accounts and expansion opportunities
- Support post-sale handoff to technical support and customer success teams
- Develop sales engineering enablement materials and contribute to product roadmap feedback
- Maintain detailed records of engagements and account activity
