Job summary

Sigma is seeking an Enterprise Solution Engineer to support the South East / Mid Atlantic region with a fully remote US role. You will partner with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, and Support to move opportunities through the technical pre-sales cycle.

You will craft tailored prototypes, deliver demos, and align customers with Sigma’s cloud BI platform across Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of business intelligence experience.
• Strong understanding of database concepts.
• Cloud data warehouse experience with Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery.
• ETL experience with Fivetran, Matillion or traditional ETL.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Understand and uncover customer challenges and run discovery sessions or workshops.
• Engage with users to define, create, and showcase solution prototypes.
• Build and present customized demos for customers, trade shows, and webinars.
• Articulate business value of Sigma platform to all organizational levels.
• Deliver responses on RFPs/RFIs and contribute to certifications to grow skills.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to drive engagements.
• Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently and meet quarterly objectives.
• Become a Sigma champion and product expert for prospects and customers.
