Job summary

Maxima, the first agentic AI platform for enterprise accounting, is hiring a Business Development Representative. You will find finance leaders, earn attention, and build a healthy pipeline for Account Executives through cold calls, email, and social channels, using AI tools to sharpen prospecting.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product, learning from a seasoned team with fintech experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in business development, sales development, or related sales role in SaaS/tech, or accounting/audit with intent to move into sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain ideas clearly.
• Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up.
• Self-motivated in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and the future of finance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers via cold calls, email, and social channels using AI tools.
• Run discovery to understand needs and fit for Maxima.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on handoffs of qualified leads.
• Stay current on accounting automation and CFO tech landscape.
• Partner with Marketing on outbound campaigns and events.
• Test new messaging and tools and share what converts.
