Job summary

Planet Group is seeking an Enterprise PMO Lead to elevate the project management function across technology, manufacturing, and operations. The role crafts a consistent PMO, governs portfolios, and aligns initiatives with business objectives while coordinating with executives and stakeholders.

You will oversee governance, prioritization, and delivery standards, ensuring resource capacity and risk management are optimized. Travel to Holstein, IA and other locations is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating, implementing, or leading an enterprise PMO.
• 5+ years in progressive project or program mgmt, handling enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 Practitioner certs.
• Strong governance, prioritization, risk mgmt, and delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the enterprise PMO with standards, governance, and reporting.
• Create a comprehensive view of the project portfolio for prioritization and resource planning.
• Oversee initiatives across technology, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
• Coordinate Steering Committee activities and drive executive decisions.
• Provide leadership and coaching to project managers and delivery teams.
• Evaluate portfolio risks, resources, and dependencies for informed decisions.
• Collaborate with executives, IT, partners, and consultants to align outcomes.
• Deliver portfolio updates and insights on progress, financials, risks, and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve PMO effectiveness and governance.
