Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to advise senior leaders and tackle complex improvement initiatives. The role leverages Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and data-driven problem solving to design and sustain enterprise-level performance improvements; you will report to the Sr.

Director, OPX and work remotely with up to 75% travel. Living near a major airport is important; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience advising senior leaders and leading complex initiatives with impact across multiple departments or sites.
• Recognized expert in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, process design, and operational performance improvement.
• Capability and experience using operational data, ERP systems, reporting tools, and data visualization to guide strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders on critical Operational Excellence priorities and enterprise performance risks.
• Translate business strategy into multi-year roadmaps, governance, standards, and execution priorities.
• Determine goals, methods, and approaches for critical assignments with broad latitude and accountability.
• Develop and guide implementation of sustainable Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other methodologies.
• Interpret operational and business data to identify systemic trends and opportunities across functions.
• Communicate recommendations and outcomes to executive leaders and decision makers.
