Job summary

OPW is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Manager to drive continuous improvement across global manufacturing units. The role reports to the VP of Operations and requires mentoring teams, implementing Lean/Six Sigma methods, and delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The position is remote with extensive travel (up to 75%), primarily in the US and internationally, and involves cross-location project leadership and KPI-driven performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in an Operations or Continuous Improvement role.
• Project management experience required.
• Proven experience driving continuous improvement in an operations/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead sites in Operational Excellence and CI best practices.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the organization.
• Coach leadership to foster a safe, quality-focused, on-time delivery culture.
• Train and mentor employees on CI tools: Process Mapping, VSM, Standard Work, 5S, PFEP, A3 problem solving.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for CI initiatives and daily monitoring.
• Manage large cross-functional CI projects and timelines.
