Job summary

Tailscale US Inc. is seeking a remote Forward Deployed Engineer to manage onboarding for strategic customers, provide technical guidance, and build strong relationships that promote successful adoption of Tailscale's products.

You will lead onboarding, offer expert support across the platform, and conduct quarterly business reviews to identify opportunities for deeper engagement with enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a technical role with a minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing position.
• Experience with enterprise customers in a consultative capacity.
• Strong understanding of networking, VPNs, and security principles.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps technologies.
• Prior customer-facing technical role at a SaaS company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage onboarding for new strategic customers with training and resources.
• Provide technical support and guidance across Tailscale's platform; assist with configuration and troubleshooting.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess usage, success metrics and future goals; identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
