Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to guide enterprise deployments of our SaaS platform for utility customers.

You will own functional workstreams, drive timelines, and coordinate across product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure successful go-lives. The role focuses on business process alignment, stakeholder engagement, and enablement activities that bring customers live, including requirements gathering, templates, workflows, and permissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in implementation consulting, project management, business analysis, customer success, or SaaS deployment roles.
• Experience leading project or functional workstreams for enterprise software deployments.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable configuration and process solutions.
• Strong timeline management, stakeholder engagement, risk identification, and dependency tracking.
• Proven collaboration with technical teams and cross-functional groups in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with workshops facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional implementation workstream for enterprise deployments from kickoff to go-live.
• Own timelines, milestones, risk management and cross-team coordination.
• Facilitate discovery workshops to map customer processes and success criteria.
• Translate requirements into configuration plans including templates and workflows.
• Partner with Technical/Solution Consultants to align functional and technical activities.
• Lead status meetings, steering sessions and maintain project artifacts for repeatable delivery.
• Advise customers to maximize value from the platform.
