Ladders is seeking a Program Director, Employee Relations to build and stand up a new enterprise ER function within a large, multi-faceted organization. Based remotely in the US, you will create processes, standards, and tools to support consistent decision-making across the company.

You will lead investigations, develop training, and analyze workforce data to drive proactive decisions. This role offers high visibility and real impact on enterprise-wide employee relations outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with significant Employee Relations leadership in complex organizations.
• Experience building or transforming an Employee Relations function with measurable results.
• Proven ability to conduct complex workplace investigations and manage sensitive employee matters.
• Strong advisory skills for senior leaders on employee decisions that balance legal and business needs.
• Expertise in using Employee Relations data to identify trends and improve issue management processes.
• Experience coaching leaders and HR teams through challenging employee situations.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment practices; global experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement the enterprise Employee Relations model with clear processes and standards.
• Lead complex investigations and high-risk employee matters from start to finish.
• Create effective processes for raising, assessing, and resolving employee issues.
• Develop tools and training to enhance leaders' and HR teams' Employee Relations capabilities.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and inform proactive decision‑making.
• Collaborate across the enterprise to implement new processes and gather feedback for improvements.
• Balance building future capabilities while addressing current workforce challenges.
