Relativity is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to serve as a strategic ER partner, leading complex investigations and advisory work across the organization. The role collaborates with Legal, HRBPs, and senior leadership to drive defensible outcomes while scaling company culture.

The position focuses on high-risk cases, performance issues, and governance of ER processes, ensuring fair treatment and consistency across regions.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in Employee Relations or HR compliance.
Experience leading workplace investigations from intake through resolution.
Knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to manage high-risk, sensitive cases with discretion.
Strong written communication for clear, legally defensible documentation.
Experience in global SaaS or technology environments.
PHR/SPHR/SHRM certs or equivalent.
Experience with HRIS tools (Workday, Rippling) and case management.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end investigations into complex ER matters with structured interviews and evidence review.
Provide legally defensible findings and recommendations in collaboration with Legal.
Advise on high-risk performance cases and disciplinary actions.
Ensure consistent processes with timelines and measurable success.
Govern ER case governance, escalation pathways, and decision frameworks.
Coach managers on feedback, documentation, and difficult conversations.
Analyze ER data to identify trends by region and function.
Develop templates and tools to improve ER quality and consistency.
