Job summary

dbt Labs is seeking an Enterprise Sales Director to drive the growth of our Pacific Northwest enterprise customers. You will own the full sales cycle, lead POC deployments of dbt Cloud Enterprise, and collaborate across product and sales to advance our commercial roadmap.

The role requires 4+ years in technology sales, strong ability to translate complex tech into a consultative sale, and exceptional communication from developers to CTOs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years closing experience in technology sales
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into a consultative sale
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of an analytics org (developer to CTO)
• Experience with long, intricate sales cycles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Inclusive teammate and community member

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead to ongoing utilization for commercial prospects
• Organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise
• Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process
• Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud commercial roadmap
• Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and commercial data operations
• Be an active member of the dbt open source community
